The Village of Lincoln Heights continues to strive forward with positive results. It has always been my major goal to empower and educate our residents. As we move the village toward the future, we continue to set a path for our children and grandchildren. It’s a path that supports our seniors along with working to connect with our next generation, our future leaders. Our future is one that is challenging, but one that allows our community and our residents to be full of pride. The Village of Lincoln Heights is rich in history along with many memories that we will continue to share with each other. Gone are the days of sitting on sidewalks as cars go by Valley Homes. We would visit the neighborhood BBQ Country Preacher, The Fish Bar. Even using the cab services of Larkin, Price and The Minute Man cab stand. We would ride the Jitney Bus across town to shop for our families. There are many memories of candy stores and grocery markets. As we now set a path for the next generation it is one that will create a positive and productive community. We are committed to move us forward and provide our residents thru housing revitalization plans, educational programs, and improving the health and wellness of our residents. We want to improve our streets, housing and build an active community. To a community that attracts new businesses. Returning old residents and new to the Village. Its understanding we have to all work together to build a community that continues to have a strong legacy for many generations to come.
As we continue to move our Village forward I have included some of our accomplishments.
