Two Village Seniors Awarded Scholarships

Two Village Seniors Awarded Scholarships

Two high school graduates from Lincoln Heights were recently awarded scholarships, courtesy of the Lincoln Heights Alumni Scholarship Fund, which will allow them to attend college.

Mr. Paul Wilson will be attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he will major in Computer Science. Mr. Corban Hutchins will be attending Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where he will major in Music Education.

The Fund is designed to help students become trailblazers in areas that will impact the community so they will, in turn, help future generations become notable citizens and leaders in the world because of their rich heritage and humble beginnings. The Scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors based scholastic performance, extracurricular activities, community service and other eligibility requirements.

Congratulations, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Hutchins, and thank you to the Lincoln Heights Alumni Scholarship Fund!
