Letter from the Mayor

From the Mayor

What would you say if I told you there is a municipality that owns more than 100 developable lots within 20 minutes of Downtown Cincinnati in the heart of the I-75 corridor across from GE with interstate frontage? Would you consider that a prime development opportunity?

I’m talking of course about the Village of Lincoln Heights. If you haven’t explored the Village lately, now is the perfect time. Two development opportunities are particularly salient.

As you’ll read elsewhere in this newsletter, the Lindy Avenue Corridor is starting to take shape, thanks in no small measure to the Reds Community Fund and a $300,000 grant from the State of Ohio. The Corridor is a prime commercial development opportunity, especially for advanced manufacturing, given its proximity to similar developments in neighboring Evendale and Lockland.

Residential developers should also take note of the lots owned by Lincoln Heights. Lincoln Heights is perfectly situated to downtown Cincinnati, the Greater Dayton area and all the suburbs in between. And you’ll find the Village to be a willing and able partner.

To hear more about these and other opportunities, please feel free to email me any time at rkmumphrey@vlho.org. You can also reach out to Village Manager Joyce Powdrill at jpowdrill@vlho.org.

We hope to hear from you!

Sincerely,
Ruby Kinsey-Mumphrey, Mayor
