Land Use: Orderly, Logical, Sustainable and Beneficial Development

The Village of Lincoln Heights is primed for growth. It is strategically located with convenient access to I-75. New leadership, the implementation of an all-encompassing strategic plan and a business-friendly environment has inspired confidence and interest among current and potential companies and developers. Nearby investment – including AeroHUB and I-75 Thru-the-Valley improvements – is raising the Village’s profile. Village services and infrastructure are improving, due in large part with a renewed focus on Lincoln Heights by Hamilton County leadership. And Village ownership of more than 100 residential lots presents unparalleled development opportunities.

Lincoln Heights leadership is committed to a revitalization that is orderly, logical, sustainable and beneficial to its residents. To help achieve those goals, the Village is recently updated its land use plan to guide its short- and long-term plans. This project was funded with 2020 Community Development Block Grant Funds provided by Hamilton County’s Department of Planning and Development. Considered Phase One of the process, the plan was informed and managed by a steering committee comprising Village leadership, Hamilton County staff and a variety of public sector experts.

The next step in our Phase One process is community engagement. On April 9, 2022, the Village will host a forum to inform the broader community about the land use plan. We will display future land use maps and information that can be used to generate community consensus about future development in Lincoln Heights and also justify needed zoning changes.
