The Village Speaks: April’s Land Use Forum
On April 23, residents gathered to provide input on the Village’s land use plan. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend! Your voice is very important and valued.
The land use plan will help ensure that the Lincoln Heights revitalization is an orderly, logical effort that benefits residents. The plan has been developed by Village leadership and a committee of experts we’ve asked to help us. We have developable land in the Village. We want to steer that development in a way that makes sense to residents and conforms to our strategic plan.
The Village will take all of the input from the forum and fold it into the land use plan. Once we’ve done that, the plan will be ready for implementation. The plan will be updated occasionally to take advantage of new opportunities and new ideas and to address new challenges.
It’s another sign that the future is bright in Lincoln Heights.
