Memorial Field Renovations Enter a New Stage
The renovation of Memorial Field enters a new stage with two new, major projects kicking off this summer. Thanks to a $300,000 Community Improvement Grant from Hamilton County, work will begin on renovating the Field's concession stand. Improvements will include new bathrooms. The Village is currently interviewing architects for this project, which will be completed between the end of 2023 and the spring of 2024, depending on the weather.Field lighting, which was damaged by vandals more than a decade ago, is also being fixed. Insurance funds will pay for new LED lights, ballasts, electrical wiring, and protective equipment to prevent further damage and theft.
